| You don't need to venture very far to take part
in a comprehensive selection of outdoor activities. Almost every
activity you can imagine is accessible from Carno. Some let you
experience the Brecon
Beacons National Park from a brand new perspective, by gliding,
abseiling and gorgewalking for instance. |
There are also many interesting nearby tourist attractions
well worth visiting inclding the Dan
yr Ogof cave complex, National Trust gardens, Castles and
Abbeys that aptly illustrate this region's heritage.  |
You can venture to St David's in the West to Abergavenny in
the East, go on the "Waterfall Walk" or "Taff
Trail" cycle route. Wherever you end up you are sure
to be impressed by the scale and grandeur of the countryside
that you pass through. |
However, if you are keen to get to the coast
during your holiday, in just over an hour from Carno
you can be at Cardigan Bay or the Gower penninsular.
